Description

It is the youngest red wine of our list, the grapes are from the newer vineyards with a more clayey soil. Negroamaro is particularly suitable for the production of easy, ready to drink wines.

Salento has always been a land of great wines and cross-cultural experiences. Primonero originates from the heart of this terroir and from the grape variety that most represents it: Negroamaro. The etimology of the name emphasizes the dark colour of the fruit through the repetition of the word “black”: niger in Latin and amauros in ancient Greek, the two dominant cultures in the Mediterranean which met in the Salento region.
