Organoleptic properties

Ruby red tending to garnet. The nose reveals the great potential of this DOC wine: the first impression is of distinctive mineral notes, almost smoky, followed by fruiter, more floral nuances, yet always complex. Explosive in the palate while remaining well-balanced, it is enriched by aromas of chocolate and mint with a long-lasting spicy finish.

Description

Pezzo Morgana is an alberello trained vineyard with a settonce layout adjacent to Masseria Li Veli, bordered by olive trees and dry-stone walls. Our Riserva is produced from a careful selection from this vineyard.

The grapes are picked from a high density alberello cru. Its elegance and organoleptic notes recall the greatest varieties of central and northern Italy. Impressive structure and ageing potential.
