Organoleptic properties

Beautiful ruby red in colour, with distinctive aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, blackcurrant but also leather and sweet violet. Full-bodied in the mouth but never tiring, silky tannin and lingering taste reminiscent of licorice and coffee.

Description

This wine is produced both with grapes from our newest vineyards and in part from our best alberello crus. Compared to Primonero it has a more complex and richer taste. It is an everyday wine that can be easily paired with elaborate dishes.

Passamante is a wood bordering our Negroamaro vineyards. The name has ancient origins and evokes a place of hiding for lovers, away from prying eyes. This Mediterranean maquis includes pine trees, broom, holm oaks, carobs, myrtle and juniper which yield notes and aromas that blend harmoniously with the organoleptic properties of the wine.
