ABOUT THE VINEYARDS

  • Grape: Negroamaro.

  • Type: rosé wine.

  • Appellation: Salento I.g.t.

  • Vineyard location: Cellino San Marco.

  • Vineyard altitude and orientation: 70 mt. a.s.l.
    W, SW.

  • Soil: clay with limestone rock.

  • Vineyards age: 10 years old.

  • Vine training system: bush vines with settonce system.

  • Plant density: 5.100 vines/ha.

WINEMAKING

  • Harvest time: first two weeks of September.

  • Harvest method: grapes are hand-picked and collected in small cases.

  • Vinification: after de-stemming, maceration on the skins in stainless steel vats lasts about 7 hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with a controlled temperature of 15 °C.

  • Ageing: in steel for 4 months.

TASTING NOTES

Bright pink with salmon and raspberry reflex; fruity bouquet, with delicate red fruit and flower notes; in the mouth it is balanced, pleasant and full, with a fresh acidity. Fruity aftertaste.

Alcohol: 13% Vol.

Serving temperature: 8-10° C.
